Has My Cell Phone Been Hacked?

Samsung Glyde U940 Cell Phone Touchscreen Cell phone for Verizon Wireless with No Contract - Refurbished in Brand New Housing and 30 Day Seller's WarrantyIf you can ask yourself the question, "Has My Cell Phone Been Hacked?" Then you most likely have good reason to have this suspicion to begin with.
It's sad to think that someone could possibly be able to gain access to your cell phone and listen to your conversations, read your texts, and even use your phone number to call other numbers. And to think that they can do this without having your cell phone in their hand is even more bizarre.

However, this can happen, and it can happen to you, just as well as it can anyone else.  Unfortunately there is software that is sold online that enables people to hack into cell phones. In situations like this, you have to protect yourself. There are a few signs to watch out for if you are suspicious that someone might be hacking or bugging your cell phone.

Check your bill and make sure there is no strange numbers that are popping up. Take notice of your battery time, especially if it seems to be running out of it's charge faster than normal. Pay close attention to your screen, and see if you notice that it's flashing periodically. Be concerned if you're receiving text messages from someone that you can't identify. Listen for clicking noises or static in your conversations when you're using the phone to speak to your friends. Listen for your friend's voice to appear as if they have an echo, as if they're speaking from a tunnel. If you've never noticed these noises before, then this is something that you should be concerned about, if you're starting to hear them now. Take notice if your phone starts ringing, but no one appears to be on the other end.

As strange as it might seem, there are people that might think your life is more interesting than their own. It takes a pathetic person to pry into someone else's life, but there are people that do this, so you need to do what you can to protect yourself.
