I thought I'd share a method I actually currently use because it's almost impossible to saturate. The only catch is you gotta be in the United States and in a bigger city for this to really work.
What you need
1)A domain name that sounds like you buy real estate
2)Some company letterhead with your name and website on it
3)Optional---I bought a magicjack and got a local number just to make this seem more legit.
Anyway on to the method. This all started because my wife loves to go to yard sales on the weekend so I we tend to drive around a lot on the weekends. I noticed that there are a lot of homes for sale in the neighborhoods we visit and one day I saw that there are CPA offers where they are looking for leads from people trying to sell there home.
So I bought my home buying site domain and made a quick landing page with a little info on it then a link that says to get a cash offer for your home today click here. This link is then forwarded to the Cpa offer.
Next I setup my magicjack voicemail and gave a generic out of the office message and added at the end for intimidate assistance or a quick cash offer visit my website at mydomain.com...
Now I would take my letter head and make like 50 or so hand written notes. (I think the hand written part is important) The notes say that I'm a real estate buyer and I just purchased 2 homes in their neighborhood and happened across their for sale sign. I add something about how they were not home when I came buy but I would love to make a cash offer for their home. I then direct them to my website and add my name and magic jack number to make it seem even more legit. I tape this note to the door on 4 sale homes that I'm sure nobody is home on. I actually convert about 40% of the people who's home I put this note on.
I've been using this for almost a year now and it actually does well enough that the CPA companies I use give me a higher rate because my lead quality is so good. I hope this helps somebody out.
